Mission Trip to Guatemala

Guatemala Recap
We
had an amazing trip to Guatemala! Thanks for your prayers and support! We stayed with a missionary couple who has been working in Guatemala
for close to 30 years. They were wonderful hosts. The country was
beautiful and the culture was fascinating. Robert spoke at a men's
retreat for an English speaking church in Guatemala City and the retreat went
really well. After arriving on Thursday we met with several
missionaries to fellowship with them and learn about their work.
Friday we toured Guatemala City and Antigua and met with 2 other missionary
couples to discuss their work. We arrived late afternoon at a retreat
center further up the mountain and this is where Robert spoke for a men's
retreat for Union Church. After two sessions on Saturday, we went back
to Guatemala City for a supper at a traditional Guatemala restaurant.
On Sunday we worshipped at Union Church then briefly over to a Spanish
speaking church before our departure. Four days was NOT enough time
and we all wished we could have spent more time learning the country, the
culture, the language, and seeing the missionaries carrying the Good News of
Jesus to other parts of the world.
