Guest Houses

These houses are available for rental for on-campus groups needing lodging for cooks, speakers, musicians, etc. The first rental house pictured at the right is "Confusion" and is located on the corner of Pine Avenue and Waccamaw Drive adjacent to the St. John dorm. The second rental house pictured bottom right is the "Palmetto House" and is located on Yaupon Avenue adjacent to the Bagnel Youth Building.

"Confusion" House Facts:

Memorial Day weekend through August 14 - $250.00
August 15 through Labor Day weekend - $200.00
Off-season - $175.00

These rates are for eight [8] people.
There is an additional charge of $30.00 each for extra people with an absolute maximum of ten[10] people. Bedroom Arrangements for "Confusion": 1 bedroom with 1 queen bed 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed each 1 Bedroom with 2 single beds 2 sleeper sofas

"Palmetto" House Facts:

Memorial Day weekend through August 14 - $150.00
August 15 through Labor Day weekend - $125.00
Off-season - $100.00

These rates are for six [6] people. There is an additional charge of $30.00 each for extra people with an absolute maximum of eight [8] people. Bedroom Arrangements for "Confusion": 1 bedroom with 2 double beds 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed each.

Other Important Information:
-Check-In: 4:00pm
-Check-Out: 12:00 noon
-Students from groups are not allowed to stay in the houses overnight.
-The Chapel does NOT provide linens, towels, or paper goods (including toilet paper)
-Absolutely no charcoaling on porches or balconies.
-Pets are not allowed
-Cleaning Policy: Guest House renters are responsible for cleanup. Cleaning guidelines
and supplies are provided.
-Swimming Pool Policy: Guest House renters are given swimming privileges at the Chapel pool during regular pool hours. The Chapel does have a one-piece swimsuit policy campus wide, including the pool.

During the off-season ministers may rent the Guest Houses for family vacations, staff retreats, etc.
