Chapel Worship Services

Worship is where it all began back in 1952 as families from many denominations met together at the Chapel.  [Chapel History]  Today it is equally important.  The Chapel offers Sunday School and Worship the first Sunday of May through Labor Day for locals, vacationers, as well as for weekend groups here on retreat.

Sunday School classes for all age groups are taught by volunteers and staff.

The worship service remains simple and traditional with solid Bible teaching and great hymns and popular choruses.  Garden City Chapel is interdenominational with casual dress.  Many say that a visit to the Chapel on a Sunday morning is the highlight of their summer.

Easter Sunrise Service

The Chapel sponsors a community sunrise service every Easter Sunday.  It is held two miles south of the Garden City Pier on Waccamaw Drive.  Times vary according to the time of sunrise over the ocean.  It is interdenominational and casual dress.  In the event of bad weather, the service will be held at the Chapel.

Also on Easter Sunday a worship service is conducted at the Chapel at 11:00 am.
