I grew up in the FWB Children's Home in Turbeville,SC. My time spent with Rev Hal Norton and the Garden City Chapel and Resort touched my soul like no other. His love for us and the way he influenced us by his deeds and teaching helped influence who I became as an adult. He gave us a reason to keep going and he brought sunshine and happiness into a painful situation. I loved the beach and I still do. The sound of the waves brings peace to my soul.. The ministry of the resort is beautiful and feeds my soul. Thank you for keeping Rev Hal Norton's ministry going.

Last weekend, April 23 - 25, 2021, I brought my youth group from Hunt's Memorial Baptist Church in Easley, South Carolina for the first time to the GCC. It was amazing! Our time together in worship, fun, and just being crazy was an awesome experience for all 50 of us! We want to thank all of the staff for all of the help preparing for our arrival and upon arrival. You're the best! Rickey, you were always on the ball getting back to me and Casey did an outstanding job once we got there and until the second we left. Thank you, GCC, for allowing us to make wonderful memories that will last forever. We were truly blessed and we thank our awesome God for your ministry at the GCC. Btw, anyone that is reading this, I hope you know that we highly recommend the GCC for your upcoming events! We all give it an A+ rating in all areas! Have fun and most of all - Share Jesus with all that you know - that's what there are hoping and praying for at the GCC! Thanks again!
